30 Days Weight Loss Challenge: Day 5

Day 5: Why do you really want to lose this weight? Are you doing it for you?

For myself, to be in better shape, to be healthier, at less risk for severe illness, and to be genuinely happy with my body. Pretty much everything I’ve already been advocating up to this point on the subject.

Even when I don’t feel well enough to exercise, I push through and do a half session instead. What’s a half session for me?

5 Minute Yoga
10 Mountain Climbers
10 Squats
10 Sumo Squats
10 Lunges (each leg)
10 Side Lunges (each leg)
Lord of the Dance Pose (5 sec each leg)
Walk (30min)

Yeah, that’s how active I still am when I feel sick. Are you not even doing that much on a good day? Then get up and go! It’s easy to take even just ten minutes out of your day and start working towards the best ‘you’ you can be.
No, I’m not saying you need to be thin, I’m saying you need to stay active to keep in the best health. (Oh gawds, now I sound like those weird commercials)
