i’d wager this is the largest earthquake drill in history history

You know the drill: the alarm sounds and everyone dives under the nearest desk. I practiced them through elementary and high school. Even now, in university, they practice drills on rare occassion.

There we were in the Theatre's costume shop, the drill sounds and we dive under the nearest sewing machine tables, counting the minutes down while contemplating how the students working in the Scene Shop would fare with only one table and a lot of sharp blades hanging above them.
